Fabulous Fitness 50+

Janet believes passionately there are many benefits to exercise, no matter how moderate this may be, and there is overwhelming evidence that it is never too late to begin.

With this in mind, whilst all ages are welcome, Janet has set up Fabulous Fitness 50 aimed at those aged 50 and above to encourage them to begin (or restart) an exercise program. Janet herself is in her 50's.

The emphasis of all classes is exercise with FUN and promoting wellbeing, mobility and weight loss.

Janet is a qualified instructor and in the early 90s operated a diet and fitness franchise for several years. She returned to finance after the birth of her daughter in 1997 and until recently was finance manager for a local health centre.

Whilst working at Ponteland health centre she could see at first hand problems that could be helped by introducing exercise into people's lives. This was a factor in convincing her, at 57, to take the leap of faith and change career again. So she has returned to what she loves best; helping people of all ages feeling better about themselves and improving their health.
