Ponteland Senior Gentlemen’s Club

The aim of the Club, founded in 1975 is to promote fellowship and service within the community and in particular within the parish of Ponteland.

Membership is open to gentlemen over the age of 55 and is currently approximately 75. Visits to local attractions are organised, normally on two occasions per year.

Each month there is a guest speaker, the talk being followed by tea and biscuits. The programme is published in local journals, typically ‘Pont News & Views' and ‘Ponteland Directory'.

There are no attendance rules, dress codes or apologies for absence required. The objective is to promote an informal and friendly atmosphere.
